Smart Transit Card

How to Get a Smart Transit Card

  • Visit the website: https://cashless.ktcl.goa.gov.in
  • Select the appropriate card user (Student/Senior citizen/General Card) and fill in the details to register.
  • Pay the card issuance fee of Rs.150. Commuters will get a top-up of Rs.75 in the card to travel.
  • Visit our authorized counter located at Panaji Bus Stand to collect the card.
  • Provide a valid ID proof.
  • You will receive a fully activated smart card ready to use.

How to Recharge and Top Up the Card

Online:

  • Visit our website: https://cashless.ktcl.goa.gov.in
  • Select “Recharge Card.”
  • Enter the card number and choose the amount.
  • Complete the payment using UPI, credit/debit cards, or net banking.

Top-Up:

  • Visit our authorized counter located at Panaji Bus Stand.
  • Tap in the ETIM machine (Recharge Card option) carried by the conductor.
  • Don’t remove the card until the successful top-up message appears.

How to Use the Smart Card

Boarding:

  • Tap your card on the card reader near the entrance.
  • Wait for the beep and confirmation voice to proceed.

During Travel:

  • Keep your card safely with you.

Alighting:

  • Tap your card on the reader near the exit to complete your trip.
  • Wait for the beep and confirmation voice to proceed.
  • The fare will be automatically deducted from your balance.

How to Get a Smart Transit Pass

  • Visit the website: https://cashless.ktcl.goa.gov.in
  • Select Apply for Smart Transit Pass then select Passenger Category (Student/Senior citizen/Private etc..) and fill in the details to register.
  • Visit our authorized counter located at Panaji,Margao,Vasco and Mapusa Bus Stand to collect the pass.
  • Provide a valid ID proof and pay the pass amount.(Cash/Online)
  • You will receive a fully activated smart transit pass ready to use.

How to Renew and Top Up the Pass

Online:

  • Visit our website: https://cashless.ktcl.goa.gov.in
  • Select “Renew Pass.”
  • Enter the card number and fill the details.
  • Select “Recharge Card.”
  • Enter the card number and choose the amount.
  • Complete the payment using UPI, credit/debit cards, or net banking.

Top-Up:

  • Visit our authorized counter located at Panaji Bus Stand.
