How to Get a Smart Transit Card
- Visit the website: https://cashless.ktcl.goa.gov.in
- Select the appropriate card user (Student/Senior citizen/General/ PwD) and fill in the details and upload a valid Govt. ID card (Aadhar/Driving License/ Voter ID etc.) to register.
- Get your travel card absolutely free! However a first time top up of Rs.150 is neccesary. Users get the card with a top up of Rs.150 in the card to travel. Additionally a 10% discount on each ticket purchased using the card.
- During the application process, you'll be prompted to select a KTCL authorized location for card collection.
- Visit the selected KTCL authorized location after 24 Hrs with a valid ID proof/ Application number.
- You will receive a fully activated smart card ready to use.
- Registration facility will also be availble at these designated centers
How to Recharge and Top Up the Card
Online:
- Visit our website: https://cashless.ktcl.goa.gov.in
- Select “Recharge Card.”
- Enter the card number and choose the amount.
- Complete the payment using UPI, credit/debit cards, or net banking.
Top-Up:
- Visit our authorized counter or tap the smart transit card in the ETIM machine (Recharge Card option) carried by the conductor.
- Don’t remove the card until the successful top-up message appears.
How to Use the Smart Card:
KTCL Buses
- The passenger has to tap the smart transit card on the ETIM carried by the conductor.
- Conductor will issue a valid ticket for the journey
Smart City Buses
Boarding:
- Tap your card on the card reader near entrance of the EV buses.
- Wait for the beep and confirmation voice to proceed.
- Validator will check the available balance on the card and deduct the maximum fare of the travelled route and announce Please tap out before alighting.
During Travel:
- Keep your card safely with you.
Alighting:
- Tap your card on the reader near the exit to complete your trip.
- Wait for the beep and confirmation voice to proceed.
- The fare will be automatically deducted/added from/in your balance.
